DESCRIPTION: WW - Omega Chronograph, ref 2277-2, circa 1966, manual wind, 32mm x 40mm to lug tips, 18mm lug width, original stainless steel snap back case with angular lugs and flat oval pushers, vintage brown leather strap, original silvered dial with applied gold indices, tachymeter scale along perimeter, three inset subregisters for minute recording, hour recording and subsidiary seconds, 17J cal 321, s#24011758, triple signed. Includes a period inner and outer box. This watch contains the legendary caliber 321 which was the movement used in the sought after Omega Speedmasters of the '50s and '60s. This movement has been used by numerous companies including Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet and Vacheron in highly complicated chronographs, and is considered by most to be one of the best chronograph movements ever made.
CONDITION: Mvt: Running, chronograph functions and resets properly, return pushers needs to be depressed all the way, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, very light oxide to steelwork; flawless dial; nearly mint hands; excellently polished case shows hardly any wear, no dents or dings; Omega signed crown shows hardly any wear; good plastic crystal. Inner and outer Omega boxes show very little wear.
